Listing Short Sales: Where do I even start???

I've been helping agents list short sales for many years. In the past, I've spent my time reviewing the best training systems for listing short sales. With the many questions I recieve each week, I wanted to start this blog to answer some of the most common questions I recieve.

Most agents first consider listings short sales when a client of theirs can't afford the costs associated with selling their home (after all, agents need to get paid). Almost every agent knows what a short sale is, but the don't know where to start. Do I call the bank first? Do I list the short sale and then call the bank? Do I find an investor to make an offer, and then call the bank?

Each situation is different. And I hope to begin answering all of your short sale questions here.
